Loving our new house, rented through Cal-Prop. We put together a list of little maintenance issues (jammed window, sticky door, etc), and they sent Tyler right out to fix them within days. Tyler their handyman was fast, professional, and open to discussion. So far has been a very positive experience with Cal-Prop and their support team.

I have lived in a house managed by Cal-Prop for nearly 8 years, and my experience has been outstanding. Throughout this time, I've had the pleasure of working with Hobie Manley, who has been nothing short of exceptional. Hobie is always professional, prompt, and seemingly available whenever needed. My initial skepticism about renting a home overseen by a property management company quickly disappeared thanks to his dedication and reliability. I couldn’t recommend him more highly and am genuinely grateful for the excellent service and support he has provided over the past 8 years.

This review is specifically for my current property manager Hobie Manley. Hobie has been the most helpful with recent repairs that my unit has needed. Some of them were very urgent plumbing issues and Hobie was very responsive and quick to get the job done. He’s easy to communicate with and great at his job. Catherine Macbuilt from Cal- Prop Management is the reason why I was able to find and move into an apartment within a month. I was searching by myself for months and struggling to find what I needed, but after submitting all of my information, Catherine was able to apply to multiple apartments for me for the price of one application. Melissa Young is my Cal prop manager. She is the most responsible, supportive, and capable teammate I could ever hope for. She handled my home, At 39 4 East Moss St. in Chula Vista, had it upgraded, updated in a very quick Turnover. She has become a supportive friend who always keeps me updated as needed. She is such an asset to your company. I appreciate her more than I can tell you.

Cate, Eric, and Melissa were very professional and prompt. The process for setting an appointment to view the property was quick and Cate was on time and did a great job showing the property. All three were available to answer any of my questions.
